PhD Scholarships, University of Sheffield, UK (2018-2019)

The University of Sheffield Faculty of Social Sciences has funding for a significant number of PhD scholarships for 2018/19 entry. These include Faculty Doctoral Academy scholarships, and ESRC scholarships available through our White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership competition. We awarded a total of 26 ESRC and Doctoral Academy scholarships in 2017.

As home to some of the UK's leading researchers, the Faculty of Social Sciences is renowned for its high-quality and high-impact research.

We work collaboratively with a range of partners in academia and industry, and carry out world class research that makes a difference. We are seeking ambitious, talented graduates or postgraduates to join us on our PhD scholarships. All scholarships are available as a +3 (PhD) or a 1+3 (Masters and PhD), as well as on a full- or part-time basis.
