Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the FORTH

The research group of Molecular Entomology/ Pesticide Science Lab of IMBB under the European Program H2020-INFRAIA-2016-2017/H2020-INFRAIA-2016-1, entitled: “Research Infrastructures for the control of vector-borne diseases – INFRAVEC2” (Scientific responsible John Vontas) invites applications for one (1) Postdoctoral position.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Biology/Molecular Biology with emphasis on genomics;
- Experience in analysis of insect molecular biology, insect genomics and insecticide resistance datasets using bioinformatics methods, tools and protocols.
- Proven record of skills in bioinformatics, insect genomics, developing curated databases and ability to collaborate in a team is necessary.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Good knowledge of Greek.
