10-14/09/2018 - 6th Mediterranean Seminar | Engineering and Technology Education (Πειραιάς)

The World Institute for Engineering and Technology Education (WIETE) and the Mediterranean Centre for Engineering and Technology Education (MCE&TE) jointly organise the 6th Mediterranean Seminar on Engineering and Technology Education to take place at the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (PUAS) in Piraeus-Athens, Greece, between 10 and 14 September 2018.

A call is made for research papers and other relevant contributions, such as posters and workshops, as well as other innovative activities.

The needs of industry in the Mediterranean Region countries are of particular interest, especially as they relate to matters concerning the methods and effectiveness of training in further and continuing engineering and technology education. The implementation of special collaborative programmes, new methods and innovative approaches will be discussed; and it is expected that the proposed Seminar contributions will address the topics mentioned above and/or other topics and contributions relevant to the Seminar aims and objectives.

English will be the official language of the Seminar.

Authors should note the following deadlines:

• Receipt of abstracts: 1 May 2018
• Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 15 May 2018
• Receipt of final manuscripts: 30 May 2018
• Acceptance of papers notified: 15 June 2018
• Conference dates: 10-14 September 2018
