Research Technician/Technical Specialist at the Cyprus Institute

The Science and Technology in Archaeology Research Center (STARC) of CyI invites applications for a Research Technician / Technical Specialist.

Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- A Master’s Degree in Materials Science or a cognate field (e.g. Earth Sciences) will be considered an advantage
- Experience in managing and operating a busy research lab
- Experience in writing technical reports
- Driving license
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines and demands
- Inter-cultural tact and flexibility
- Demonstrable interest in archaeology or history is an advantage
- Experience in training others
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in a multicultural environment
- Good spoken and written Greek will be an advantage
