The next World Curriculum Studies Conference is to be held in Melbourne in December 9-12, 2018. The conference, under the auspices of the International Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies (IAACS), will be co-hosted with the Australian Curriculum Studies Association (ACSA) and the Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE). The venue is the Kwong Lee Dow Building in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne, located a short walk or tram ride from downtown Melbourne, Australia.
The conference will formally take place over three days, following a workshop for graduate students and early-career researchers, and is structured in terms of plenary keynote addresses, Featured Panels, and paper presentations. Consistent with the mission of IAACS and in the tradition of previous events, this conference will have an explicitly international orientation, with a view to furthering the project of transnational curriculum inquiry, albeit drawing on what are often distinctively national perspectives, and working within and across them.
Participation and contribution is hereby invited from curriculum scholars working in different countries across the world.
