Software Development Engineer at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems

The I-SENSE Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, within the framework of the Intelligent Transportation Systems and Networks projects it is implementing, invites all interested persons to express their interest for the position of Software Development Engineer, who will be employed via work contracts in one or more projects implemented by the Institute until the end of each project.

The following evaluation criteria will be used, the list not being restrictive:
- Electrical and Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proven experience with C/C++ and embedded systems
- Good knowledge of hardware and software interaction, interfaces etc.
- Significant experience with code reviews (Gerrit), source control (Git, Svn) and issue tracking systems (Jira)
- Thorough understanding of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience in C++11/14
- Experience in automated build and test and / or test driven development
- Familiarity with Automotive applications
- Experience in CMake
- Experience in ROS
- Experience in Qt Framework
- Experience in Python
- Experience in Scrum/Agile
- Experience in sensor data acquisition and signal processing
- Experience in real time application development and handling timing and synchronization issues
- Working experience in the ITS field will be positively assessed
- Good written and oral English language communication skills
- Previous or current collaboration with ICCS will be also taken into account
