Study visit to Moscow! You'll visit a youth organization, meet active young Russian people, learn about Moscow and youth work in Russia!
We invite you to join a study visit to Moscow! The visit is organized by a youth international organization The Institute of Humanitarian Development. During the visit you will visit the youth organizations based in Moscow, meet youth activists, learn more about youth work in Russia. You will meet active young people who are open for cooperation and new common projects!
Also a significant part of the visit will be dedicated to the discovering the cultural part of Moscow - you will visit Red Square and museums; see those parts of Moscow that are closed from tourists.
One week in Moscow will allow you to meet young active people, to learn about youth projects in Russia and receive new knowledge and skills that can be useful for your future youth work!
During the program participants will meet representatives of youth organizations in Moscow working in the field of education and intercultural development. Also a series of trainings on intercultural development will be offered.
The participants will develop the following competences:
Intercultural communication
Team-working skills
Leadership skills
Also participants will raise their awareness about youth work in Eastern Europe and receive new knowledge and skills that can be useful in their professional work. Representatives of Russian youth organizations will share successful experiences of youth projects implemented between Russian and foreign youth organizations and invite young people to develop future projects together.
Program of each day:
morning - Russian language class
afternoon - cultural program (excursions, museums)
late afternoon/evening - seminars and trainings at youth organizations (the organizations to visit - youth intercultural center, language center, school, university, youth clubs - the exact choice of the organizations to visit will be based on the preferences of participants)
evening/late evening - informal program
Costs
390 euro if you choose accommodation with the hosting family or 490 euro if you choose accommodation in the hostel. We provide visa invitation; for EUcitizens (except UK&Ireland) visa will be free; others will need to pay a visa fee.
Scholarships are not available. The project is not financed under Erasmus+
Participants have to pay for their travel.
Visa invitation will be provided (visas for EU citizens, except UK and Ireland, are free of charge).
