3-5/4/2015- Πανελλήνιο Συνέδριο Φοιτητών Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών (Πάτρα)

The National Conference of Students of Electrical and Computer Engineering is the annual conference of students of Electrical and Computer Engineering conducted since 2007 in various cities of Greece. Τhis year, from the 3rd to the 5th of April, for the second time during the eight years of the conference, it is organized in Patras in the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.The goal of the three-day conference is to bring together students of all departments of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics to learn about new technological developments and new labor market challenges.

The conference receives more than one thousand delegates daily, who have the opportunity to attend numerous lectures, presentations and workshops, and each year hosts at least five speakers of international repute. Through this institution, every student - undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD- and researcher of our field, has the opportunity to acquaint with the latest developments in the field, exchange knowledge and present his own thesis or dissertation. For the world of science and technology, this conference is a meeting full of innovative ideas, while offering space for development and creativity.

This year’s conference is organized by sixty students of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras. It has received the official support of the Senate and the Dean of Faculty as well as the support of the two departments. Finally, very significant part in the conference hold the professors Nikolaos Fakotakis and Nikolaos Avouris from of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as the professors Ioannis Garofalakis and Konstantinos Berberidis from the department of Computer Engineering and Informatics.
