Small organisations in rural areas can find human resources as a challenge in organising international youth projects. This study visit shows good practices in one region in Finland. Rural areas can be international too!
The study visit will gather together youth workers from small scale towns, rural areas and little villages to have a look at Finnish good practices that help the countryside to be more international.
We will have a base camp in roughly in the centre of the region which we are exploring. From there we will make visits to villages and other small places and see what kind of practices youth workers have to give their young people an opportunity to meet diversity and Europe in projects.
We will also get to know the participating organisations and create contacts between participants. We can start forming project ideas and see how to get forward with the ideas later.
Our focus will be on youth projects like youth exchanges and the European Voluntary Service (EVS).
Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country.
This project is funded by: the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme.
