COSMOS is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Innovative Training Network (MSCA-ITN-2014-EJD 642563) aiming at an understanding of the general properties of collective dynamics and synchronization of complex systems composed of oscillatory elements. It includes both theoretical projects where such systems are studied with the methods of nonlinear dynamics and statistical physics, as well as applied ones related to the analysis of experimental multivariate time series, such as physiological and neural data.
The COSMOS network is highly interdisciplinary, and fellows will benefit from interactions with world-leading researchers in a broad range of disciplines. ESR positions are available at following universities: University of Potsdam, University of Aberdeen, Lancaster University, University of Florence, University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), VU University Amsterdam, Faculty of Information studies in Novo Mesto (Slovenia), and Medical University of Graz.
All fellows will be jointly supervised by two partner universities and will receive a PhD degree from each of them. Most of the fellows are expected to be hired in July 2015, but later starting dates can potentially be accepted.
Marie Skłodowska-Curie 36-months full-time PhD fellowships offer an attractive remuneration package including salary, mobility, and family allowances, and are subject to eligibility and mobility conditions.
