The Department of Operations Management at Copenhagen Business School invites applications for up to three vacant PhD scholarships within the areas of the Department.
The research activities at the Department span across five academic research areas: Supply Chain Management (design and management of flows of goods, services, knowledge and information between firms); Performance Management (design, use, and effects of financial and non-financial measures in strategy development and implementation); Innovation Management (deployment of management tools and mechanisms to connect technology, organization and markets); Operations Management (relation between production, organization, and strategy in manufacturing and service industries); Managerial Economics (decision modelling around pricing, costing, production planning and forecasting).
The Department of Operations Management supplies teaching and supervision to undergraduate, graduate, masters, executive and PhD programmes in economics and business administration.
It is the ambition of the Department to develop research and teaching in close connection with practice.
We are interested in PhD projects and candidates that want to pursue interdisciplinary research within the areas of the Department. Competencies and skills from empirical research by any method are an advantage, as is the ability to bridge to other research areas of the Department.
Closing date: 6 June 2018 (expected starting date in September 2018)
