Faculty Position at the Cyprus Institute

The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a new faculty member active in research fields served at its Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC). The position offers excellent possibilities for professional development for highly motivated individuals in a field of growing importance in research.

Profile:
- The successful candidate must have a proven research record of international standing as well as teaching and postgraduate training record appropriate for the rank they are applying for.
- A minimum of three years of post-doctoral research experience or equivalent in relevant fields of research is required for the rank of Assistant Professor; for the ranks of Associate Professor and Professor, international norms typical for Research Universities apply.
- The selected candidate must have excellent interpersonal and management skills as well as an aptitude and/or experience in mentoring and teaching graduate students depending on the rank they are applying for.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a requisite.
