Call for applications
We seek talented, dynamic, and motivated scientists prepared to start their own independent careers, who plan to apply for independent funding (for instance the Emmy Noether-Program, Sofja Kovalevskaja Award or ERC starting grant) in order to set up an Independent Research Group at the IPK to explore innovative fields in plant sciences. Members of the institute will provide scientific and administrative support during the application process. The Independent Research Group will receive additional in-house support and will have full access to all necessary infrastructures.
We will host a two-day workshop in September 2018 with representatives from the DFG and the ERC contact points to give insights into the application process. To identify candidates with high chances of success and research interests matching those of the IPK, we invite you to apply for this workshop. Outstanding individuals with an excellent track record in relation to their career level and with convincing future research plans will be considered for invitation.
