Post-doctoral positions are available in my laboratory to study immuno-regulatory pathways that control the innate and adaptive immune responses involved in the pathogenesis of allergic disease and asthma. This project will be focused on defining molecular and cellular mechanisms that induce immune regulation and maintain respiratory tolerance.
We are currently looking for a recent or expected PhD, MD/PhD graduates in the field of immunology. Successful candidates will have a strong publication record in immunology related peer-reviewed journals. We are seeking highly motivated and collaborative individuals capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. Studies will integrate cutting edge molecular technologies with traditional cell & molecular biology based approaches. The candidates should have excellent writing and communication skills and familiar with techniques such as multi color flow cytometry, cell isolation, tissue culture, ELISA, RT-PCR, animal handling and preferably measuring airway hyperreactivity in animal models of asthma.
