Postdoctoral Researcher (Pervasive Computing, 1-3 positions)
The department of pervasive computing educates IT experts based on its scientific research knowledge. Areas of research include software engineering, usability, open-source environments, personal navigation, wireless sensor networks, multiprocessor systems, Internet architechtures and protocols and information security.
We are looking for strongly motivated post-docs to strengthen the research carried out in department’s research projects, most of which are funded externally. Successful candidates are expected to have a strong research background in both national and international research.
Candidates will be working as a part of a larger research group, which includes both senior researchers, including the professors of the department, as well as doctoral or even Master’s students, who are just starting their research career.
The successful candidate must hold an applicable doctoral degree and possess the competence to pursue independent scientific work and the teaching skills needed to perform the duties of the position. The position is intended for recently graduated post-doc researchers, so that they may gain further experience and advance their careers.
Experience of studying and working abroad and contacts to international research will be appreciated.
