- Regional Humanitarian & Emergencies Affairs Director

Requirements include:
- Graduate degree qualification and/or Professional qualification in Management.
- Strong empirical knowledge of Humanitarian Sector including Humanitarian charter, laws and standards.
- Holistic knowledge of disaster management, risks, resilience and how to programme effectively (improving resilience).
- A thorough understanding of all areas of HEA minimum standards including Child Rights.
- High level of awareness of global, regional socio-economic and political issues in MEER region.
- Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an HEA leadership role.
- A proven record of developing people in a cross-cultural setting and initiating and implementing organizational change at leadership level.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
