Introduction
The department of pharmacology at the University of the Free State is looking for an energetic, self-motivated postdoctoral fellow to be involved in our Indigenous knowledge Systems (IKS) research program, under supervision of the IKS Lead Programme Director, Prof. MG Matsabisa.
Aim: To evaluate traditional medicines for potential activity against Alzheimer’s disease.
2. Pain Research
Introduction
The department of pharmacology at the University of the Free State is looking for an energetic, self-motivated postdoctoral fellow to be involved in our Indigenous knowledge Systems (IKS) research program, and to work under supervision of the IKS Lead Programme Director, Prof. MG Matsabisa.
Aim: To evaluate traditional medicines for potential remedies for pain research and pain management.
3. Analytical Research
Introduction
The department of pharmacology at the University of the Free State is looking for an energetic, self-motivated postdoctoral fellow to be involved in our Indigenous knowledge Systems (IKS) research program, and to work under supervision of the IKS Lead Programme Director, Prof. MG Matsabisa.
Aim: To evaluate traditional medicines for potential remedies for drug development and develop analytical methods for characterization chemical fingerprints using a variety of techniques

Aim: To evaluate traditional medicines for potential remedies for pain research and pain management.
