26-29/08/2018 - 5th International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (Θεσσαλονίκη)

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we have the pleasure to invite to the Fifth International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, which will be taking place from August 26 to 29, 2018, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The present conference continues the tradition of previous SWAT conferences, which were designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between diverse groups of the scientific and technical community, dealing with the emergent current issues of small water and wastewater treatment plants. Given the positive results of the previous conferences, we believe that the 5th SWAT conference will also be a successful academic and technical event.

The main conference goal is to present the best drinking water and/or wastewater treatment techniques, related to small municipalities, communities, settlements, hotels and industrial plants, based on environmental, financial, technical and social criteria. As it happened in previous SWAT conferences, the organizing committee is in contact with international scientific journals and selected articles from the conference proceedings will be published in special issues of the journals, after they are reviewed.
