16-23/09/2018 - Εκπαιδευτικό Πρόγραμμα | Active Nonviolence (Ολλανδία)

This is a project that includes a training, but also webinars and an follow-up implementation phase. Youth workers will gain knowledge, insights and skills in Conflict Transformation, Social Change, and Peacebuilding.

“Active Nonviolence: peace begins with you(th)” has the aims to: empower youth workers by knowledge, insights and skills to prevent violent escalation of conflicts, transform conflicts and engage in (inter-cultural) peaceful interactions and relations, increase the capacity and collaboration of Peace Builders in Europe, and impact society and support one another to sustain the motivation to be a Peace Builder.

The project has three phases. Online Learning, Training Course and Follow-up.

After a few webinars we will host youth workers from 5 different countries, to improve their skills in conflict transformation and nonviolent activism.

We will do different exercises and role plays and develop projects to address a social issue (something participants choose). You will implement it after the training and the trainers will support you with advice.
