Accounting Assistant (Athens)

On behalf of our Partner, a high-profile and evolving Investment Company operating successfully in Athens, we are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform accounting functions and procedures essential to the success of the organization.

The main responsibilities of this role will be to:

• Collaborate successfully with the external Accounting Firm
• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, data entry, ledger account reconciliation and preparation of various accounting documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of experience performing accounting and finance tasks
• Fluency both in Greek and English (A minimum certified B2 Level is a must)
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and commitment to professionalism & work ethics
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive personality
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to have:

• Accounting License
• Hospitality industry Experience
