Research Assistant at European University Cyprus

The aim of the SPN is to develop walkability as a sustainable way of urban development and as a condition to transform European cities into smart sustainable cities, by encouraging active modes of transportation, mainly walking. The role of the Cyprus team is to develop the SPN concept and business model, carry out a feasibility study and finally develop a business plan for the adoption of SPN by municipalities around Europe.

Person specification:
- Graduate degree in a relevant area (preferably business/computer science/engineering)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience of conducting research and research ethics procedures
- Experience in quantitative research methods
- Proven ability to use initiative to efficiently plan, optimise and progress project and communicate findings
- Extensive IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent written and spoken English (knowledge of Greek is considered an advantage)
