Senior Research Associate at Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the FORTH

In the framework of the HERACLES project (H2020-DRS-2014-2015/H2020-DRS-2015, GA 700395), funded by the European Commission H2020 Programme - H2020-E.U.3.5- SOCIETAL CHALLENGES- Climate action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials and H2020-EU.3.7. - Secure societies - Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens), the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL), Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH), is seeking to recruit one (1) Senior Research Associate.

Required qualifications:
- PhD in Physical Sciences or Engineering
- Extensive knowledge on heritage materials and objects, including policies and best practices in the CH field
- Long experience with the use of diverse analytical instruments and techniques and their application in studies of heritage objects and samples. Expert knowledge in experimental data acquisition, processing and interpretation in the broader historical or conservation context
