Junior Researchers at Athens Information Technology

The Multimodal Signal Analytics Group of Athens Information Technology is seeking junior researchers in the areas of artificial intelligence or signal processing (aiming at deep learning for
computer vision), for the needs of research and development projects, with the following responsibilities and profile:

Responsibilities
• Implementations of deep learning and computer vision algorithms, using scientific papers as the starting point of the development.
• System integration: Produce end-to-end systems from algorithmic implementations (either created in-house, or provided by partners).

Required qualifications
• BSc with signal processing and programming courses in the curriculum
• Programming in C/C++
• Usage of OpenCV and/or deep learning libraries/frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow, Caffe, etc.)
• Programming both Unix and Windows systems
• Teamwork, self-motivated
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Desired qualifications
• MSc in signal processing and/or deep learning
• Research experience (publications, project participation)
• Multi-threaded programming
• Programming in Python
• ARM, Raspberry Pi, Movidius
