Maintenance Engineer (Xanthi)

Maintenance Engineer

Position overview:
The job holder will be based in Xanthi and the role’s main responsibilities will be:

• Ensures the continuous running of equipment and machinery
• Inspects, tests and adjusts plant’s machinery and equipment on a regular basis
• Schedules and executes preventive maintenance for all machines/lines
• Identifies faults, investigates equipment breakdowns and monitors the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out
• Uses Maintenance Software System
• Records dates and times of inspections, tests and repairs
• Places machines’ & equipment’s spare parts purchasing orders; follows them up to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on-time
• Manages stocks of supplies and equipment
• Maintains corresponding reporting
• Collaborates with Machine Suppliers

Position’s Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Fluency in German (oral and written) will be an asset
• Excellent computer knowledge especially MS OFFICE software
• Excellent communication, cooperation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Focused on detail and delivering results
• Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
