THE POSITION
The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics has a vacancy for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work in its Bioinformatics Group for the ERA-Chair BIORISE project funded by the European Union (http://www.biorisecyprus.com/).
The position is for a period of 15 months, ideally starting from April 2019.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Biological Science, Chemistry or closely related fields.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Research work in the field of Biomedical informatics/Computational Biomedicine.

THE POSITION
The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work in the field of Biostatistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will work closely with the Department of Cardiovascular Genetics and the Laboratory of Forensic Genetics and will also be providing statistical support to all the other CING Departments.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
PhD degree in Biostatistics or Statistics or closely related field.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in Biostatistics.
Demonstrated experience with setting propositions, Bayesian networks and sensitivity analysis.
