The French Institute for Demographic Studies (INED) awards doctoral studentships for a period of one to three years starting from 1 October 2015. Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD programme in a French or foreign university at the start of the 2015- 2016 academic year. The student’s application must be supported by at least two advisors, including at least one INED researcher. The thesis supervisor may be a non-INED researcher, but applications from students whose PhD is supervised or co-supervised by an INED researcher will take priority. PhD students may be hosted at INED for all or part of their doctoral period.
