In September 2015, the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University will be offering a Procurement Law Summer School on The New EU Public Procurement Directives. The European Documentation Centre of this University promotes this Programme.
The Procurement Law Summer School is going to be divided into two complementary programmes.
The International Programme that aims to analyse the new EU legislative package for Public Procurement and their implications to the Member States legal framework. This programme will be fully lectured in English by leading international academics and professionals. It is intended to students and practitioners who are willing to increase their knowledge on the subject matter and will benefit from the personal contact with key names in the world of public procurement.
The National Programme purposes to address the specific challenges posed by the transposition of the new EU Public Procurement Directives into the Portuguese Law. In addition, it will simultaneously provide a comparative analysis with the Spanish reality and their transposition process. This programme will be lectured in Portuguese and Spanish by leading academics and experts from both countries and it is mainly aimed to a national audience of professionals interested in concrete issues arising from the transposition of the New Directives.
Both programmes will be held from Monday to Friday at the campus Foz of the Catholic University of Portugal in Oporto. The International Programme sessions will take place in the morning and the National Programme in the afternoon.
The programmes may be attended separately or simultaneously. We look forward to meet your students in Oporto! Can you, please, share or spread this information?
