The Cyprus Institute is a European non-profit science and technology institution based in Cyprus and led by an acclaimed Board of Trustees.

The successful canditate(s) will be engaged with the ongoing research at the Cyprus Institute in expanding its activities in energy system analysis. They will be members of the Energy Division within the Energy, Environment and Water Research Centre.

Required Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field
- An educational background in one of the following or similar fields (a relevant field in engineering, physical sciences, economics)
- Very good knowledge of programming, numerical simulations and modelling techniques
- Excellent understanding of physics and engineering concepts and solid mathematical background
