Planning Supervisor (Thrace)

A large Greek company, with a leading position in the industry sector is looking for a Planning Supervisor based in North Greece (Thrace):

Responsibilities:

• Planning of all production departments in order to secure full utilization of equipment and personnel.
• Planning of raw materials, setting out raw materials safety stock by code and safekeeping of material resources planning smooth flow.
• Confirmation of orders.
• Coordinate, track and create orders for raw materials; send orders to suppliers.
• Check on availability and confirmation of raw materials’ orders.
• Daily update and follow up on all of the above.
• Create reports on material & production planning.
• Supervise a team of 6 persons.

Profile:

• University degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, mainly within an industrial environment, and with solid knowledge of production planning process
• Basic knowledge of quality control and financial concepts
• Must have excellent organizational and leadership skills, be a team-player, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines, make fast decisions, inspire confidence and be consistent
• Excellent command of English language
• Excellent computer skills (knowledge of SAP is desirable)
