The Earth and Environmental Sciences Group at James Cook University has a global research profile, and is one of the most research-intensive groups within the university. We are located in the tropical NE Queensland with direct access to the Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforest, vibrant cities, diverse agricultural systems and world-class mineral provinces. Our research is supported by state of the art analytical facilities and excellent links to industry and relevant government agencies. A wide variety of research projects are available within the wider research themes listed below. Eligibility
Applicants must have one of the following:
· research Master’s degree
coursework Masters' degree or graduate diploma which includes a research project or thesis of 6 months full time equivalent in duration
Equivalent of Australian Honours Degree in the relevant area of research
