20 Doctoral Researchers at Tampere University in Finland

The Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences of Tampere University invites applications for 20 doctoral researcher positions.

The position of doctoral researcher offers you the opportunity to concentrate full time on your doctoral studies while receiving high-quality supervision along with the freedom and encouragement to develop your ideas in a supportive, inspirational and multidisciplinary research environment.

Doctoral researchers are hired on a fixed-term basis for up to 4 years. The exact length of the contract will depend on the current stage of your studies and your expected graduation date.

Besides conducting research for your dissertation, you will be expected to teach or perform other duties related to your studies. These duties may not exceed 5% of your overall working hours.

The successful candidates will pursue a doctoral degree in one of the doctoral programmes of the Faculty.
