The Centre for Southeast European Studies of the University of Graz is an interdisciplinary and cross-faculty institution for research and education, established with the goal to provide space for the rich teaching and research activities at the university on and with Southeastern Europe and to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Centre for Southeast European Studies of the University of Graz is currently accepting applications for Visiting Fellows for the academic year 2015-2016. The Centre provides research facilities for fellows, including a working place, access to the library and full participation in the activities of the center for a period of one semester (4 months, either October-January or March-June). Visiting fellows are expected to present their work in a research seminar, discuss their research informally with members of the center and contribute a working paper to the center’s working paper series; as well as they are encouraged to contribute to seminars, classes and other teaching and research activities of the center.
Eligibility
The fellowships are open to advanced doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers and senior academics from a variety of disciplines: history, law, political science, law, anthropology, sociology and economics. Researchers engaged in comparative work (both within the region and between regions and countries) are encouraged to apply.
