The Laboratory of Excellence (Labex) Plas@Par (http://plasapar.com) opens 4 Postdoc positions in various domains of plasma physics.
Hosted by Sorbonne University, the LABEX gathers about 130 researchers and teachers in the study of plasmas: natural plasmas, laboratory plasmas generated by high power lasers or by pulsed power electricity devices and cold plasmas with their industrial applications.
The research will be carried out in different teams of Paris and its surroundings.
4 Postdoctoral positions
FILLED - Position 1: “Hybrid simulations of inductively-coupled plasmas in diatomic gases with vibrational state kinetics”, at Laboratoire de Physique des Plasmas (www.lpp.fr) in Palaiseau. France.
FILLED - Position 2: “Density fluctuations and their role in the instabilities development : from laser to heliophysics.”, at Laboratoire d’études spatiales et d’instrumentation en astro physique (http://www.lesia.obspm.fr/) in Meudon, France
Position 3: “Numerical simulations of nanosecond discharge plasmas in air.” At ONERA (http://www.onera.fr/) in Palaiseau, France.
