We invite candidates to apply for a post doc position on the synthesis of synthesis of oligomers and polymers for NIR applications, duration: 12 months

Description
OSNIRO is a new Marie-Curie ITN project of 8 well-respected partners in the field of organic electronics. Start date of the project is October 1st, 2013.
Scientific targets of the project in Advent Technologies SA are synthesis, characterisation and application of NIR absorbing and emitting organic materials for organic electronics.

This includes:
Synthesis of a series of NIR molecules and incorporation into oligomers and polymers; Scale-up of the most promising polymers.

Requirements:
- PhD in chemistry or material science
- Good knowledge in organic synthesis
- Deepened knowledge in polymer synthesis
- Excellent English language skills
- Highly motivated, team minded and able to work independently
