This long term training course consists of two residential trainings and a supporting process in between.
It offers for youth leaders, youth workers, and young people a long-term perspective, with the necessary skills and support to initiate a new project, find partners, develop project ideas and even submit it after the end of the second part of the Activity.
This training course is the next step of a long-term cooperation on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial learning ran by SALTO-YOUTH Participation and National Agencies.
This activity will focus on the need of youngsters’ deeper involvement of Erasmus+ through transnational youth initiatives. This training course will tackle the potential obstacles-, like difficulty to understand “Strategic Partnership /Trans-national Youth initiatives” under Key Action 2, to manage a project and make it sustainable - , that keep young people away from applying, furthermore will focus on developing project management skills and the sense of initiation and entrepreneurship. Please take into consideration that applicants will be selected if and only they take part in both parts of the long-term training course (in November and February as well)!!
Aims and Objectives:
- To provide opportunities to build up new partnerships
- To develop participants’ competences in planning and developing a project within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme;
- To promote entrepreneurial learning, (social) entrepreneurship as pathways to personal and professional development;
- To develop specific proposals for future transnational youth initiative projects;
- To stimulate creativity by exchanging practical ideas with former YIA
beneficiaries and by visiting a local social entreprise ;
- To provide opportunity to consult with National Agencies’ Strategic Partnership program officers;
- To promote the Erasmus + Programme for youth and transnational youth initiatives (KA2) in particular;
Target group
We are looking for 30 motivated and enthusiastic participants from programme countries, with the following professional backgrounds:
Youth workers, youth leaders, young entrepreneurs, young people (including informal group of young people) who have already implemented or planning to develop national/transnational youth initiatives under Youth in Action or Erasmus + Programme.
The course is for participants who:
- have some experience on transnational youth initiatives;
- have possibility within their organisations and have decided to engage in international cooperation and are seriously interested in setting up Transnational Youth Initiatives after the course;
- already have some ideas to develop a project;
- are able to communicate and work in English;
- committed to participate in both training courses and in the coaching process in between;
- are over 18 years old;
- are resident of one of the Programme countries
Working methods:
The training course will be based on non-formal learning approaches encouraging the active involvement of participants, giving them space to take an active role, express themselves, share good examples of practice and initiative new sustainable partnerships, and consult with the program officers of the National Agencies.

The training course will be a six-day long event (including arrival and departure days) that will take place in Budapest (Hungary) from 08 ( arrival day)November to 13 November 2015 (departure day) and in Italy in 21-26 February 2016.
