The Water Division of the Energy Environment and Water Research Center is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Research Specialist in Environmental Hydrology.
The Water Division is maintaining a number of hydrologic and environmental monitoring units and observation stations in Cyprus. The successful candidate will cooperate with the researchers and PhD students of the Water Division in the maintenance of automatic stations and sensors and the installation of new stations, including an Eddy-Covariance system.
The Technical Research Specialist will also conduct manual streamflow, groundwater and plant-physiological observations. They will take water, soil and plant samples in the field and will analyze properties in the laboratory. Also they will cooperate with local stakeholders and assist with the management and processing of large environmental data sets.
