The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is inviting potential candidates for expression of interest for the following fellowships:
Fellowship programme in Neuromuscular Disorders and Electromyography (ref. code: 210619(a))
Fellowship programme in Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology (ref. code: 210619(b))
Fellowship programme in Movement Disorders / Neurodegenerative Diseases (ref. code: 210619(c))
CLINICAL FELLOWSHIPS’ OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Clinical Fellowship Programme is to provide a well-defined clinical Training Programme in the Neurology Clinics and Clinical Laboratories of the Institute, with recognized expertise in each specific field. Neurologists that are recently qualified can learn from participating in the Institute’s Specialized Clinics, including specific techniques conducted such as Botox injection, as well as training in related techniques such as Electromyography and Neurophysiology. Clinical training will be combined with opportunities for research projects either clinical or laboratory based, depending on the candidate’s skills and interests. The clinical fellowship trainings are for an initial period of 12 months. The number of fellowships will be decided depending on the expression of interest received.
ELIGIBILITY
Completed Neurology Training in an Accredited Residency Program; and
Licence or eligible for licence from the Pancyprian Medical Association; and
Command of the English and Greek languages; and
Demonstrated academic potential

A cover letter explaining why and how the clinical fellowship in the particular field is relevant.
Applicants are encouraged to clearly explain their objectives in the context of their usual practice, specifying the gains that are expected from the fellowship.
