City Adviser at C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (Athens)

Created by cities for cities, C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40) advances the climate action agendas of the world’s megacities in order to achieve meaningful reductions of greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks. The C40 consists of 70 engaged cities that are committed to replicable and sustainable climate-related policies locally, which address climate change globally.
In 2014, C40 launched a competition to place City Advisers around the world to work on the ground in cities to support innovative priorities with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by more than 9 million tonnes C02e over the next five years. Athens was selected to host a City Adviser.
