Randstad Hellas is seeking to recruit an In-House Maritime Lawyer, on behalf of our client, a leader in the shipping sector, to be based in Switzlerland.
Responsibilities
- Provides legal support on all commercial legal needs of a diversified shipping Company.
- Prepares and negotiates in cooperation with other officers of the Company, charter party contracts, vessel sale and purchase contracts, loan agreements, tripartite agreements, service agreements, consulting agreements and all other agreements needed in the operation of the Company and its clients.
- Supports the CEO in high level negotiations with third parties.
- Undertakes legal research as and when required to support management decision making.
- Handles all internal corporate legal needs not excluding consulting agreements, rental agreements and remuneration agreements.
- Provides support to accounting and operations officers of the Company as needed.
- Cooperates with external attorneys and consultants for corporate, tax and litigation matters. Cooperates with Directors and assists in the preparation of corporate documents, as needed.
- Acts as the compliance officer of the Company. Assists with KYC requirements as needed.
