PhD and PostDoc in photonics quantum technologies

The Hannover Centre for Optical Technologies (HOT) invites applications for the position of:

Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) – Photonic quantum technologies for high-dimensional information processing
starting the next possible date. This fixed-term post is initially available for until 31.12.2021 with the possibility of an extension.

This postdoc work focuses on the design and implementation of integrated high-dimensional photonic quantum systems and experiments for applications in information processing also in conjunction with interested companies. The project also includes the exploration and modification of quantum algorithms in close conjunction with photonic implementation possibilities. For further information, please contact Prof. M. Research Assistant (PhD position, m/f/d) – Quantum state control in integrated photonic systems
starting the next possible date. This fixed-term post is initially available for until 31.12.2021 and extendable. The position provides the opportunity of further academic qualification.

The duties of this position include the design and implementation of integrated devices for all-optical quantum state control towards applications in quantum science.

Research Assistant (PhD position, m/f/d) – Photonic quantum networks for optimization problems
starting the next possible date. This fixed-term post is initially available until 31.12.2021. The position provides the opportunity of further academic qualification.

The project focuses on development of photonic concepts and the design and implementation of integrated optical device architectures and optical networks for quantum signal processing systems with applications to machine learning problems.
