Description
The Youth Time Movement is officially inviting journalists, to apply for the Youth Time Global Forum, which will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 28-31 October, 2015.

The Youth Time Global Forum in Barcelona will be a unique event, which will gather together more than 100 participants from all over the world with the aim of coming to solutions for the most prevalent youth issues. The program will consist, first, of workshops, in which participants will be challenged to redefine the concepts of “employment” and “education”; and second, of project presentation meetings, in which participants and experts will evaluate the proposals the presenters have made.

Eligibility
Requirements for applicants:

Current employment in national or international media (newspaper, magazine, news agency, TV, radio or news portal);
Journalist from EU and North American countries;
Significant journalistic experience and deep understanding of current global issues in youth politics and social life;
Efficiency, a track record of tolerance, and a readiness for new experiences;
The selected participant should have an opportunity to publish one article about the Youth Time Global Forum before the event and several articles or postings within 2 weeks after the event.
Please note that social media skills are highly appreciated. Audio and video skills are considered as an advantage. They expect perfect working and writing knowledge of English and the capacity to work with people from other cultural backgrounds.

Benefits
Travel costs, accommodation for three nights, and meals are covered. The journalist will have to cover the visa costs by themselves.
