Open vacancy at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics

Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the Bioinformatics Department.

The Bioinformatics Department serves as a hub of excellence in the areas of applied bioinformatics to early diagnosis, effective prognosis and drug discovery contributing to the concepts of Preventive, Personalized and Precise Medicine.

The position is funded for two years.

The successful candidate will work in the Project COMFORTAGE (Project Number 101137301) with title: “Prediction, Monitoring and Personalized Recommendations for Prevention and Relief of Dementia and Frailty” of the HORIZON-HLTH-2023-STAYHLTH-01 Call, funded by the European Commission through the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA).

- A PhD degree in any Bioinformatics, Computer Science or Computational Biology or closely related field
- Strong command of the Greek and/or Turkish and English language

Postdoctoral Experience in biomedical data analytics will be considered as advantage.
