The University of Bridgeport invites applications from qualified Ph.D.'s with interest in developing skills and experience in university teaching and international education in preparation for an academic career. Commencing in September 2016, the positions require a ten months stay in China teaching first and second year Electrical Engineering and Computer Science undergraduate theory and laboratory courses. On campus accommodations in China will be provided. Interested candidates should possess excellent English speaking skills, and very strong oral communication skills. Chinese language skills will be a plus but are not necessary. The initial appointment will be for a year with the possibility of renewal.
Desired skills and experience
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related areas. Due to the extended overseas stay requirement candidates must either have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
