12/2016-06/2017 - Diplomatic program: "Academy of Young Diplomats" in Poland

The "Academy of Young Diplomat" (AYD) is a highly competitive, 8-session diplomatic program held in Warsaw, Poland, which brings together the best and brightest students and young graduates from over 20 countries. This engaging, practical experience complements the excellent curricula offered by your institution and allows students to develop their soft skills and apply theoretical knowledge, while also building their professional networks.

The European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD) is a non-for-profit, nongovernmental institution with over 12 years’ experience in educating future leaders, which today include over 5,000 alumni from over 50 countries. Many graduates from the EAD have successfully passed the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) exams, and have gone on to work for European institutions, but also other international organizations such as the United Nations, Council of Europe or the World Bank.

The 13th edition of Academy of Young Diplomats will take place between December 2016-June 2017.

The programme includes:
- 8 monthly weekend sessions in Warsaw, Poland (December 2016-June 2017) and one weekend session in Kraków (January 2017).
- Meetings with distinguished diplomats, politicians and scholars from all around the world.
- Hands-on workshops on diplomatic protocol, savoir vivre, public speaking, negotiations, national branding, leadership, policy advising and working with media.
- Specializations: International Organizations, International Security and Polish Foreign Policy.
- Study visits to Embassies, public administration institutions and international organization headquarters in Warsaw.
- Specialized Career Office & Embassy internship opportunities.
