UCD TOPMed10 Fellowship Programme, co-financed by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND Action of the European Union and University College Dublin (UCD), offers 10 prestigious Fellowships over two calls for outstanding postdoctoral researchers in the area of Personalised Medicine to conduct their own research project at UCD, Dublin, Ireland.
The Programme aims to provide the researchers with a research training experience of the highest international standards that will help them to forge careers in Personalised Medicine. It offers an attractive and supportive working environment at UCD and high quality tailored training in areas related to research topic and transferable skills, while Fellows will also benefit from joining the prestigious Marie Curie network. Fellowships include an optional secondment to another research-performing institution in academia or industry that can be carried out in any country in the world.
Applicants are required to submit a research project proposal in the broad area of -omics driven Personalised Medicine. Personalised Medicine spans basic to clinical research disciplines including but not limited to translational biology, computational modelling, molecular bioinformatics, biostatistics, statistical genetics and clinical informatics.
