RESPIRE3 is an international, inter-sectoral and inter-disciplinary programme providing Marie Skłodowska-Curie post-doctoral research fellowships to early stage scientists with the potential to become the leaders of tomorrow in the respiratory field. It is managed by the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
More in particular, the RESPIRE3 programme offers more flexibility and options, compared to past programmes, through 2-year European Fellowships and 3-year Global Fellowships. Its aims are to:
• Promote excellent science in respiratory research in Europe and worldwide through transnational mobility;
• Enable Europe to become a hub for the exchange of scientists, actively involved in respiratory medicine in both academia and non-academic sector;
• Foster the implementation of novel and innovative techniques and therapies;
• Gather expertise from various fields, even those not traditionally associated with respiratory research.
The 1st RESPIRE3 call for fellowship applications will be officially open by the end of October 2016 (with deadline: 1 March 2017) when the full Application Guidelines and the online application platform will be available.
In the meantime, calls for host centres to be listed on the RESPIRE3 Host Web Registry are already open at: http://www.ersnet.org/ers-funding/fellowships/item/5282-respire-3-host-a...
