IACA Research Fellowship Programme, Austria (2017)

IACA’s research fellowship programme is designed for highly qualified and motivated young researchers from around the world whose academic interests and research focus are in the areas of anti-corruption, compliance, and/or collective action in line with IACA’s mandate and research agenda.

Eligibility
In order to apply for a research fellowship, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Language: Strong capabilities in conducting research, editing, and writing academic papers in the English language are essential for this position. Candidates who are advanced English speakers but whose mother tongue is not English are required to provide proof of their English proficiency. Such proof must be furnished by one of the following methods:

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- IELTS test
- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English
- An academic degree from an internationally recognized university where English was the language of instruction
- Proof of completion of at least two years of full-time education in a tertiary institution where the language of instruction was English
- Proof of having at least two years of full-time employment in an organization or company where English was the working language

Education: Candidates should have completed a postgraduate (master’s level or equivalent) programme in law, social or political sciences, economics, business, or another relevant field. It is not mandatory for a candidate to be enrolled in, or to have completed, a PhD programme, although applications from PhD students are strongly encouraged.

He/she has strong research capacities as demonstrated by the completed master’s thesis, a capstone paper, or some other significant academic research and writing project. Publications in the areas of anti-corruption, compliance, and/or collective action are a plus.
