Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the FORTH

The research group of Molecular Entomology/ Pesticide Science Lab of IMBB under the European Program H2020-INFRAIA-2016-2017/H2020-INFRAIA-2016-1, entitled: “Research Infrastructures for the control of vector-borne diseases – INFRAVEC2” (Scientific responsible John Vontas) invites applications for one (1) Post doctoral position.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Biology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry
- Master degree in Biology/Molecular Biology
- Experience in mosquito vector biology and insecticide resistance in particular (expertize in Aedes vectors is desirable but not obligatory)
- Proven record of assay development skills, molecular diagnostics and bioassays, protein expression systems, and ability to collaborate in a team is necessary
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of Greek
