Traineeship at the Council of the European Union

Each year the General Secretariat of the Council offers three types of traineeships: paid, unpaid and traineeships reserved for national officials.

Trainees will be attached to a department and work as part of the team to which they are assigned. The tasks of the trainees include attending meetings, drafting minutes and carrying out preparatory work or research on a particular subject.

Each year the General Secretariat of the Council offers some 100 paid traineeships lasting 5 months.

Do School Hamburg One-year Start-Up Fellowship for Entrepreneurs, Germany (2016)

The DO school is One-year Start-Up Fellowship for highly motivated and talented emerging social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs age 21 to 31. Around 20 Fellows will take part in this One-Year Program. Applicants should have strong connection to Sub- Saharan Africa who are active in education, community outreach, governmental organisations, activism or with a pedagogical background.

25 Vice-Chancellor’s Undergraduate Scholarships, Durham University, UK (2016-2017)

Durham University is awarding up to 25 vice-chancellor’s scholarships to students who plan to commence their studies at Durham in 2016/17. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in Sport, Music or the Arts; for example participation in sporting or musical events at a national or international level. Applicants will also be required to play an active part in Durham University’s sporting, musical and performing communities.

Study Subject (s):
Scholarships are awarded in all subjects available at the Durham University.

In doing so the Graduate School follows a concept of the Humanities beyond the dichotomy between the so-called cultural sciences and the humanities.
