The call for applications is now open for the First International School titled Poland and Central and Eastern Europe – 2017. The language of instruction is English. Each participant will be required to publish a text on a topic covered during the School (within 6 months following the School).

The stay in Poland starts on 1 October 2017 in Warsaw and ends on 12 October 2017 in Wroclaw.

The School is open to:

Dedicated to young historians, social scientists, journalists, social activists, popularizers of Polish and Central European history;

20-26/08/2017 - BIRN Summer School of Investigative Reporting (Κροατία)

This year’s BIRN Summer School of Investigative Reporting will take place at the Astarea Hotel in Mlini, Croatia from August 20 until August 26, 2017. The Summer School will bring together a superb line-up of journalists and trainers. The lead trainer will be Blake Morrison, investigative projects editor at Reuters in New York and lecturer at Columbia University, New York.

This project will assist youth workers to acquire tools for discovering their potentials. With the use of digital and media technology, in accordance to non formal learning, can develop social, creativity/entrepreneurial and innovating skills among youth workers.
The project ”Turn into powerful youth worker through media technology” aims to increase awareness on how media technology through NFL can enhance youth workers to discover their potentials and turn into more effective professionally and personally.

ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE is a training course that gathers 4 experts and 29 youth workers from 29 organizations from 28 countries from programme category and neighborhood ones.The activity week will take palce in Busteni between 6-15 december 2017.

The project takes place in a moment when ethnic minorities from Europe are marginalized and discriminated leading to a limited access of their citizens to education,work and social services.The cases expand every year among youngsters with social negative aspects that lead to hate and intolerance
